PR Campaign Teaching Teen’s Love is Not Abuse. CMN 3100 analysis paper

A retail store like Liz Claiborne made an ethical business decision and collaborated with a campaign to call attention to well-known struggling issue within our society: domestic violence. In retrospect, the organizations I am currently developing and critiquing my finding with : Neutrogena and Nestle. Both hit on the same idea of humanism and awareness. By advertising a product or good to support a moral or ethical issue really speaks to a consumer.

Onto the Real Image

Hey Everyone. I apologized in advance of continuing of women’s advertisement news. However my mom sent me this blog from Essential Magazine. Thought I’d sure this with you guys!

"Sorry dear, you're too skinny to be a model:" British magazine "Essentials" replaces models with real women

Dove's campaign for real women may be having an affect on how women expect to be portrayed in the media.
British women's magazine Essentials has reportedly decided to replace size zero models and airbrushed celebrities with real women in response to reader demand.
The magazine took a reader's survey and found that more than 70 percent of its readers would prefer to see real women than professional models.
So, Essentials' October issue features 10 actual readers, including a 71-year-old grandmother on its cover. While editorial pages feature readers, of course most of the advertisements will include professional models--unless more companies like Dove join the real women bandwagon.
"We're looking for amazing women that really reflect the magazine's readership, so women of all shapes, ages, and sizes," style director Lucy Turner says in video about the new campaign.

Below is a link to the DOVE campaign that focuses on the dynamic power advertising is having on young women. I found this clip to be extremely motivating and inspiring to how DOVE is using their efforts to bring voice of "real beauty" to the world by showing all the
overwhelming advertisements that target women in our culture to remain a certain image need to STOP!
